Pakistani AH-1F Cobra Attack helicopters are playing an active part in the counterinsurgency and counter terrorism operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Pakistan Army is actively pursing AH-1Z SuperCobra attack helicopter and TAI/AgustaWestland T-129 (AW729) attack helicopter options to replace its aging fleet of AH-1F Cobras.
