Pakistan Army Strategic Forces Command Tests Shaheen 1A (Hatf IV) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile

Pakistani Army Strategic Forces Command successfully test launched Shaheen 1A (Hatf IV) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile. The Shaheen 1A (Hatf IV) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile is capable of carrying nuclear and conventional warheads of 1,000 kilograms to a distance of 900 Kms.

Shaheen 1A (Hatf IV) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile is an improved version of the Shaheen I ballistic missile with extended range and indigenously developed highly accurate guidance system.

JF-17 Thunder To Carry CM-102 Anti-Radiation Missile & GB-6 Submunition Dispenser

Jointly developed by the Pakistan and China, Sino-Pak JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft was displayed at China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition 2014 (Airshow China 2014) with new weapons including CM-102 Air Launched Supersonic Anti-Radiation Missile & GB-6 Air-Launched Standoff Submunition Dispenser Precision Guided Weapon.


Pakistan Army Strategic Forces Command Tests Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile

Pakistan Army Strategic Forces Command on November 13, 2014, successfully test fired Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile. Strategic Missile Group of Pakistan Army Strategic Forces Command demonstrated its operational readiness during Field Training Exercise of Army Strategic Forces Command. Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile was used to destroy target at distance of 1500 km and is capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads.

Spotted Flying: JF-17 Thunder Fighter Jet  Block I carrying serial number 149 of Pakistan Air Force. Pakistan Air Force will start taking deliveries of the Block II Thunder in near future which will come with newer and improved avionics and weapon systems.

Pak Navy Tests Torpedo & AntiShip Missile

Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy has confirmed that Pak Navy successfully test fired Torpedo from Augusta 90 B class submarine and anti-ship guided missile from navy aircraft during naval exercises on Saturday. Augusta 90 B class submarines of Pakistan Navy are considered as most advance and effective weapon of Pak Navy to deter any attack from sea front.

Pakistan Tests Multi Tube Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile Hatf IX (NASR)

Pakistan Test Fired  Salvo of Four Nuclear Capable Multi Tube Surface to Surface Ballistic Missiles Hatf IX (NASR) with Range of 60 km. Multi Tube Hatf IX (NASR) Ballistic Missiles were fired from a single transporter erector launcher (TEL).

  Hatf IX (NASR) ballistic missiles are designed with capability to maneuver throughout its flight to avoid any tactical anti-ballistic missile (ABM) system in the area and still deliver tactical nuclear warhead with pin point accuracy in about 1.5 minutes.

Navy Reples Attack on PNS Zulfiquar (251) F-22P Zulfiquar Class Guided Missile Frigate

Pakistan Navy has repelled an attack by terrorists armed with rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), assault rifles and hand grenades on its on its naval dockyard following Defence Day celebrations. It is said that terrorists were aiming to capture PNS Zulfiquar (251) F-22P Zulfiquar Class Guided Missile Frigate.

Security personnel of Pakistan Navy along with members of Special Service Group Navy SSG(N) killed two terrorists and apprehended four others in joint operation.


One petty officer of Pakistan Navy embraced Shahadat while another officer and six sailors sustained injuries during this attack by terrorists.

Commander-in-Chief of Russian Naval Forces On Historic Visit

Russian Naval Commander-in-Chief Admiral Viktor V. Chirkov is in Pakistan on historic a 4 days first ever official by a Russian naval Chief to Pakistan.

He was received by Pakistani Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila and was presented  and was  presented Guard of Honour by a contingent of Pakistan Navy clad in ceremonial dress at Naval Headquarters.

JF-17 Thunder Configured For Maritime Strike Role


Image of JF-17 Thunder fighter jet configured for long range maritime strike role has appeared on the Chinese language forums.  JF-17 Thunder fighter jet is armed with C-802A Anti-ship Missile for use against maritime targets / warships from standoff distance of 180 km and two external fuel tanks to extend its range.

The JF-17 Thunder will also carry 2x medium SD-10A Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile (BVRAAM) and 2x PL-5E II Within Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (WVRAAM) for self-defense purposes.

Pakistan Takes Delivery of First Five Royal Jordanian F-16 fighter jets

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has received today its first batch of five Royal Jordanian F-16 fighter jets under a deal to purchase upto 13 F-16s fighter jets out.

First batch of Royal Jordanian F-16 AM/BM fighter jets arrived at the Mushaf Mir Airbase in Sargodha were inducted in the PAF fleet.  Pakistan Air Force will induct an other eight Jordanian fighter jets to increase the F-16 total to 76.  These fighter jets will serve PAF for another 20 years with almost 3,000 hours on average available to them for flying."

Pakistani Strategic Missile Group Test Fires Hatf III Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile (SRBM)

Pakistani Strategic Missile Group of Army Strategic Forces Command has successfully tested Hatf III Ghaznavi Short range ballistic missile (SRBM). The Hatf III Ghaznavi SRBM is designed to carry conventional and nuclear warhead to a distance of 290 kilometres.

Missile was test fired as part of Field Training Exercise of Strategic Missile Group of Army Strategic Forces Command and it was witnessed by the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Rashad Mahmood, Director General Strategic Plans Division, Lt Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Lt Gen Obaid Ullah Khan, Chairman NESCOM Muhammad Irfan Burney.

Pakistan To Upgrade Its C-130 Hercules Military Transport Aircraft

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has informed the United States Congress about request to upgrade the Pakistan Air Force's C-130 Hercules turboprop military transport aircraft under a deal worth  $100 million.

Under this proposed deal C-130 B/E Hercules of the Pakistan Air Force will receives avionics, engine management and mechanical upgrades as well as cargo delivery system installation, and replacement of outer wing sets on six of the C-130 Hercules turboprop military transport aircraft.

Pakistan Air Force's C-130 aircrafts are being used to air-lift the essential food supplies for the people stuck in the drought stricken areas of Tharparker.

Pakistan Air Force has acquired 13 F-16A/B block 15 aircraft Fighter jets from Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF). Pakistan will take the delivery of 12 F-16A and 1 F-16B fighter jets next month.

Pakistan Secures Deal Worth $94 million To Supply 20 Super Mushak Trainers


Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra has signed deals to supply Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft to the Iraqi Air Force under a deal worth US $94 million. Under this deal Pakistan will help train the personnel of  Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Air Defence Controllers.

Mirage Fighter Jet Crashes Near Mandi Bahauddin

The Mirage fighter jet of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has crashed near Qadirabad area of Mandi Bahauddin. Both pilot and the co-pilot were notable to survive the crash and embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) as they were trying to make sure that fighter jet was clear of the populated area.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif Visited Strategic Planning Division


Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Army, General Raheel Sharif has visited the Strategic Planning Division and he was briefed by the Director General Strategic Planning Division Lieutenant General � Khalid Ahmed Kidwai about Pakistan's strategic programme.

Chief of Army Staff has said that Pakistan�s nuclear programme occupies central place for the defence of the country. He expressed his satisfaction over the robust nuclear command and control structure and all the security controls related to strategic assets of the country.
