PNS Khaibar Destroyer Leaves China for Indonesia


Pakistan Navy's Destroyer PNS Khaibar and oil tanker Nasr has left Chinese waters for  Indonesia after four day goodwill mission to China.  Commander of the Pakistani warship, Commodore Ali Abbas met with the Chief of Staff of Shanghai Naval Garrison Senior Captain Wei Xiao Dong and discussed the matters of  mutual interest and agreed to promote cooperation, coordination and enhance interoperability between the two navies.

Pakistan Breaks Ground on $9.59 billion Nuclear Power Complex

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif broke ground on $9.59 billion Nuclear Power Complex in Karachi. The 2,200-megawatt power nuclear project will be built around two Chinese ACP-1000 nuclear reactors, with China also providing enriched uranium for fuel.


Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif  said that �The beginning of the 2,200-megawatt power project is indeed a proud moment in the energy history of Pakistan.�

Burraq Medium Altitude Medium Endurance Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) is designed to perform reconnaissance and precision strike missions and can stay in air for over 12 hours.

 
Burraq Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) can carry upto two laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) serving a role much like American MQ-1 Predator UAV and AGM-114 Hellfire.

JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak Represent Pakistan At Dubai Air Show

The JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and and Super Mushshak basic trainer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has reached UAE to participate in the Dubai Air Show 2013. Three JF-17 Thunder fighter jets of the 16 Squadron �Black Panthers� will represent the Pakistani defence industry in the prestigious Middle eastern air show.

Pakistan has so far inducted JF-17 Thunders into its 16 Squadron �Black Panthers� and 26 Squadron �The Thunder Spiders.� Plans are already underway to re-equip the 27 Squadron �Zarrars� at Pakistan Air Force Base Rafiqui which currently operates Mirage 5EF ROSE III fighter attack aircraft 

Pakistan and China are pushing the JF-17 for export with Qatar and Sri Lanka are being targeted as first export customers.
